HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT – Chez Legends All Stars returns this Friday and Saturday, bringing together the winners of Chez Legends seasons 15 and 16 for a sharp, high-stakes run at the title of Mx. Chez Est 2026. The annual competition has built a reputation as one of Hartford’s most anticipated drag events, where polish and personality carry equal weight. This weekend’s lineup promises big performances and even bigger expectations, with past champions stepping back into the spotlight for a shot at the ultimate crown. More than a competition, the title of Mx. Chez Est remains a reflection of the community it represents, and if history is any indication, the road to the title will be as entertaining as it is hard fought.

All Stars Weekend
Friday
The Chez Legends All Stars weekend begins this Friday, April 17, at Chez Est in Hartford, with a Disney-themed opening night that sets the tone for the competition ahead. The evening starts at 8:00PM with a red carpet and photo opportunity, inviting guests to step into the spotlight before the show begins. From there, attention shifts to the main event as season 15 winner Angel Rivers and season 16 winner Angelina Fierce face off in three rounds: Impersonation, Disney, and Red Carpet Elegance. With both competitors descendants of the Gem Dynasty, this is a show not to miss.
Saturday
The two day event concludes on Saturday, April 18, as Chez Est hosts its grand finale beginning at 8:00PM. The night will feature the presentation of the William Musanti Humanity Award, an honor that reflects the spirit of the community as much as the competition itself. The evening builds toward the final moment when a new champion will be named and awarded the title of Mx. Chez Est 2026. Following the crowning, the celebration will continue with an after-party, closing out a weekend centered on performance, connection, and tradition.

What is Chez Legends?
For sixteen seasons, Chez Legends has served as a proving ground for Connecticut’s drag talent, building a reputation as a mainstay of the local scene. Held twice a year at Chez Est in Hartford, the 10-week competition brings performers of all styles to the stage each Thursday, where they compete for a place in the finale. Each week produces a finalist before the season’s top contestants meet in a final showdown. The journey ultimately leads to a head-to-head battle between two consecutive season winners during the Chez Legends All Stars weekend, where one is crowned Mx. Chez Est.

The Competition
Season 15
In season 15, Angel Rivers claimed the crown with a performance that blurred the line between drag and performance art. Set to a mashup featuring Grace Jones, Romy, Fred Again, and POWERS, the number unfolded as a carefully staged visual piece. Angel appeared in an oversized red gown designed by local designer Christian Catalanotto, its surface covered in bold, hieroglyphic-style markings, before the garment expanded to fill the stage. From beneath the fabric, dancers emerged and moved in sync, turning the performance into a shifting, living picture that held the audience’s attention from start to finish. Inspired in part by Keith Haring’s 1987 collaboration with Grace Jones, the piece was intended to transport the audience beyond the stage, a vision that ultimately secured Angel’s place as a Chez Legend. Season 16
In season 16, Angelina Fierce secured her win with a performance rooted in classical imagery and high-impact choreography. Drawing from The Birth of Venus and Greek mythology, the number unfolded to music by Lady Gaga, beginning with Angelina carried onstage atop a bed of flowers before briefly vanishing from view. When she returned, seated in a large shell and dressed in a gold bodysuit, the performance shifted into a series of precise, physically demanding movements, including lifts that drew a strong reaction from the crowd. By the final moments, the judges were on their feet, and Angelina’s control of both concept and execution made her a clear choice for the crown. (video below)

The Gem Dynasty
The upcoming Chez Legends All Stars marks a pivotal and proud moment for the Gem Dynasty, as two of its own will now compete for the ultimate crown and title. Season 15 winner Angel Rivers, a founding sister of the Dynasty, will face season 16 champion Angelina Fierce, the daughter of founding member Robin Fierce, in a rare head-to-head that brings the group’s legacy full circle. The Gem Dynasty, originally formed as the Haus of Gems by local drag icons Harmony The Valkyrie, Angel Rivers, and Robin Fierce, is known for its sisterhood-based structure built on equality rather than hierarchy. With both competitors already secured as Chez Legends winners and part of the Chez Est House of Legends, their matchup at the 2026 Disney-inspired All Stars competition in Hartford highlights how far that legacy has reached.

Conclusion
The Chez Legends All Stars Weekend brings together season 15 winner Angel Rivers and season 16 champion Angelina Fierce for a head-to-head return to the Chez Est stage in Hartford. Both are set to deliver new performances alongside appearances from the House of Legends, adding another layer of star power to the lineup. As anticipation builds, the central question remains who will emerge as the next Mx. Chez Est. The weekend promises a mix of high fashion, strong competition, and tightly staged performances, all leading up to the crowning of Mx. Chez Est 2026.

In a ceremonial moment at Chez Est, Harmony The Valkyrie, the reigning Mx. Chez Est 2025, will step down and pass on the crown as a new chapter begins for the Hartford venue. The transition marks both an end and a continuation, with the title carrying forward the legacy of the competition and its place in Connecticut’s drag community. As the crown changes hands, attention will turn to the next Mx. Chez Est, following in the footsteps of a title that has long represented performance, pride, and tradition at Chez Est.
