Drag Duel is back, and season three is about to hit full swing. If you haven’t watched the series yet, now’s the time to catch up. The online drag competition takes inspiration from RuPaul’s Drag Race but puts its own spin on the format. This season, fourteen drag artists from around the world, known as Warriors, are facing off in weekly challenges that test their creativity and performance skills. Each week, one is eliminated until a single winner walks away with the $2,500 grand prize. With such a diverse mix of talent and styles, this season is shaping up to be a wild ride and fans will be excited to see two returning Connecticut faces back in the cast.
Connecticut has been making its mark on Drag Duel since the very beginning. In season one, local performers Glass Staine and Susan? put the state on the map, proving that Connecticut queens could hold their own on a global stage. When season two rolled around, the state came back even stronger with two more hometown talents. Chai, a beloved staple of Connecticut’s drag scene, joined the cast alongside drag king Dom Parinyon, whose sharp style and confident presence quickly stood out. Both delivered unforgettable performances throughout the competition, Chai secured a spot in the top five, while Dom took home the crown, making Connecticut proud once again.
This season of Drag Duel is shaping up to be a big one for Connecticut fans. The state’s own reigning champion, Dom Parinyon, is back, not as a contestant, but sitting at the judges’ table. He’ll be joined by season one winner Hydra, along with YouTube personality Drag Detective Derek and fan favorite Bucy, who will both serve as judges and hosts for the season. On top of that, each week will feature a rotating lineup of guest judges, including past Warriors returning to share their perspective and offer feedback, keeping things fresh and unpredictable.
Dom Parinyon’s path into drag grew naturally out of his background in acting and sketch comedy, combined with his journey of self-discovery. As he came to terms with his queer identity, drag became more than performance; it became a way to explore new characters, experiment creatively, and express himself fully. Dom’s fearless approach to every challenge last season, combined with his sharp humor, artistic vision, and commanding performances, made him impossible to forget. Whether he was transforming thrift store finds or experimenting with unexpected materials, his creativity stood out in every runway and Main Battle. His journey through the competition showcased his talent and determination, ultimately conquering the season and claiming victory.
The state’s own Glass Staine is back for another run on Drag Duel, returning from season one. Glass has built a reputation for shocking audiences and pushing boundaries. She’s no stranger to online competitions, having started as an underage bedroom queen and competed in numerous contests over the years. Glass was runner-up on season seven of Supreme Drag Race on Instagram and also competed on the popular YouTube series Drag Showdown on season one and returned for season two. She later competed on their All Stars season DSDivas, finishing as runner-up. Glass Staine has also hosted her own Instagram competition, Queen’s Purgatory, from 2016 to 2022, cementing her role as both a competitor and a mentor in the online drag community.
Each week, the Warriors will step into the virtual Arena to take on challenges that push their creativity and performance skills. One by one, contestants will be eliminated, all building toward a final showdown for the $2,500 cash prize. Every episode features a Main Battle, a Runway Presentation, and a Drag Duel lip-sync, along with optional Side Quest challenges. Contestants submit their Main Battle entry, runway look, and pre-recorded lip-sync each week. The judges critique the top and bottom performers while the rest are safe. The Main Battle winner is announced, and the bottom two face off in a Drag Duel to the Death, where one continues in the competition and the other goes home.

New episodes drop weekly on the show’s YouTube channel, so subscribing is the easiest way to keep up with all the action.
