HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT – The BUTT TOOT KING tour, featuring Lydia B Kollins, Suzie Toot, and Kori King, three standout queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 17, has been making waves across the U.S. this October. The trio, known for their fierce performances and undeniable chemistry, plan to bring their unique brand of drag to cities across the country during their first national tour created by Flip Phone Events and Fiercely You Entertainment.

The show, promising to “change the face of drag forever,” made its second stop here in Connecticut last Friday at The Webster in Hartford as part of a nationwide tour. Drag fans enjoyed a high-energy, unforgettable night with Lydia B Kollins, Suzie Toot, and Kori King taking the stage. VIP guests had the special opportunity to meet the queens and take photos during a pre-show meet-and-greet held one hour before the performance, adding an intimate and personal touch to an already spectacular evening.

Their stop here in the state was a night that really celebrated the local scene. The tour made a point to include local talent, giving Connecticut a chance to shine alongside the visiting stars. ConnecticutDrag.com’s Person of the Year 2024, Ambrosia Black, took the reins as host, thrilling hometown fans who got to see their favorite drag icon commanding a large stage in front of a packed crowd. Keeping the energy high all night was the beloved DJ Edgewood, spinning tracks that had everyone moving, while Lexxi Pro worked behind the scenes, handling stage support. It was a lively, inclusive show that felt like a true celebration of drag.

“I had such a fantastic time! All the solo and duets were absolutely incredible, my favorite was definitely Lydia’s Lady Gaga medley! And of course Ambrosia was just wonderful as host! The queens were so sweet to me at the meet-and-greet too!” – Taylor Dauphinais
The crowd was treated to a mix of high-energy performances, candid behind-the-scenes moments, and a celebration of the trio’s genuine friendship and love. Lydia and Kori, who became the first openly public couple from RuPaul’s Drag Race, have continued to captivate audiences with their relationship. Their new WOW Presents Plus series, Pillow Talk with Butt King, offers an intimate look into their lives, discussing everything from their Drag Race experiences to their journey as a couple. As Kori shares, the series captures moments where they forget the cameras are rolling, making it feel like viewers are eavesdropping on a private conversation.

Audience members were encouraged to show up in their best Halloween costumes for a chance to win a costume contest during the show. About halfway through, Lydia, Suzie, and Kori each picked their favorite look from the crowd and brought the chosen fans on stage for a fun lip-sync battle. One lucky contestant took home the win, but all three walked away as winners, sharing an unforgettable moment alongside the drag icons.

Described as a show that will “change the face of drag forever,” the BUTT TOOT KING tour lives up to the hype, serving up hilarious, campy moments alongside fierce lip-syncs and choreography that set the stage on fire. But the tour is more than just entertainment, it’s about community. The queens use their platform to support causes they care about, with a portion of ticket sales going to organizations like Boston’s Shout Syndicate, which funds youth-led arts programs.
