NEW LONDON, CONNECTICUT – Jan Sport, the standout star from season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, made a long-awaited return to Connecticut, performing at Sky Casper’s Pink Eggs & Glam Drag Brunch at The Social in New London this past Sunday. It marked her first appearance at the popular live singing drag brunch in six years. Known for her powerful vocals and high-energy performances, Jan brought charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to the stage, earning cheers from an enthusiastic crowd who were excited to welcome her back to the state..

Jan is no stranger to Pink Eggs & Glam. Long before her stint on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she was a beloved regular at the event, making nearly a dozen appearances and becoming a fan favorite. Her last performance at Pink Eggs & Glam was in March 2019, just over six years ago, before she sashayed onto national television and into the hearts of Drag Race fans everywhere. This past weekend, eager fans from across Connecticut flocked to The Social to welcome her back. The venue filled quickly with excitement as guests gathered for a lively morning of drag, brunch, and community.

Fresh off Drag the Musical, Jan Sport brought some of her favorite hits to Connecticut, lighting up the stage at Pink Eggs & Glam in New London. Brunch-goers were treated to her signature humor, powerful vocals, and magnetic stage presence. Her energy filled the room, turning the event into a celebration of performance and community. At The Social, Jan Sport had fans laughing and cheering throughout her high-energy set at Pink Eggs & Glam. Known for her quick wit and strong vocals, Jan delivered a string of sharp parodies and clever improvisation that kept the crowd engaged from start to finish. Her re-imagining of “Part of Your World” brought a comedic twist to the Disney classic, showcasing her ability to blend nostalgia with adult humor. A standout moment came with her parody of “Believe” by Cher, where she nailed the iconic voice and mannerisms, earning big laughs and applause. 

The show also featured high-powered performances of “F**k You” by CeeLo Green, “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter, “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga, “Hot To Go!” by Chappell Roan, and a heartfelt rendition of “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret. She closed the show on a high note with Donna Summer’s “Last Dance,” leaving the crowd on their feet and already hoping for her return.

Jan Sport brought more than just talent to Pink Eggs & Glam, she brought connection. Her audience engagement set the tone for a standout brunch experience, with personal interactions that made guests feel like part of the show. One of the most memorable moments came during “Jan’s Jukebox,” where audience members could request songs in real time by holding up a dollar bill or two, or three! She also added a personal touch to her performance by celebrating audience birthdays in a way that felt both heartfelt and entertaining. One by one, Jan asked each birthday guest their name and, during a special rendition of “Happy Birthday,” she recalled every name without missing a beat. As she sang each one into the song with charm and ease, the crowd responded with cheers and laughter. Jan has appeared in the season 13 finale of The Voice alongside Jessie J and starred as Savannah St. James in the Off-Broadway hit Drag: The Musical.
