The name also draws from a deeper love of sci-fi, specifically Black Mirror’s interactive Bandersnatch episode, set in an 80s software company blending reality with tech. Paxx connected with the labyrinthine themes and a creature named Pax, which he discovered means “peace” in Greek. This layered play on words and influences became the perfect moniker, merging the structured world of technology with the untamed creativity of drag.

His drag is a captivating blend of chaos and control, an artistic outlet shaped by a uniquely imaginative process. His creative journey begins in the pages of manic, stream-of-consciousness journals, written during intense emotional episodes and filled with disjointed ideas that resemble a conspiracy board or the cryptic text on a Dr. Bronner’s soap bottle. From this raw, unfiltered chaos, Paxx extracts focused concepts, transforming them into striking outfits and performances. His drag persona – a living, breathing hybrid of computer virus and AI – is an androgynous, non-human creature designed to escape the bleakness of humanity. Rooted in tech-inspired aesthetics, Paxx’s character embodies manic energy, mischievous villainy, and a dystopian allure. A chance encounter with a photographer at the event led to an impromptu photoshoot, resulting in Paxx’s image making the front page of the festival’s coverage – a surreal moment of recognition. For someone whose early artistic aspirations were often dismissed in favor of a career in tech, this milestone was more than just validation; it was proof of how far he had come. Performing in shows across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and even in surrounding states. Paxx embraced opportunities he once believed were out of reach.
